Som Varghese is a Nurse Educator at the Institute of Health and Nursing Australia, having joined in November 2022. She is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator with over 20 years of combined experience in Australia and overseas. Som is recognized as a dynamic achiever with excellent interpersonal skills, and her areas of interest include critical care, infection control, surgical nursing, research counselling, and more. Som has completed her Master's in Clinical Teaching from the University of Western Sydney, which has equipped her with the knowledge and skills required to excel in her role as a Nurse Educator. She is passionate about teaching and developing the next generation of nursing professionals. Currently, Som is involved in teaching and coordinating the HLT54121- Diploma of Nursing course at IHNA. She is committed to providing a supportive learning environment for her students and ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills required to excel in their nursing careers. Her extensive experience in critical care, infection control, and surgical nursing, among other areas, enables her to provide valuable insights and guidance to her students. Overall, Som is a highly skilled Nurse Educator with a wealth of experience and expertise in nursing education.
