Management is the application, organisation and coordination of the activities of an enterprise in accordance with certain policies, procedures and practices. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. This involves the use of communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. This course aims to develop knowledge of management skills by explaining and drawing on modern practices and methods to achieve business objectives. It engenders a holistic approach to the role of the management discipline within industry, business and society, and promotes the ability to identify factors that impact most on management success.

The course is provided through Face to Face or Blended mode of delivery. It will be delivered (720 hours) and assessed (80 hours) over a total of 800 hours which will include theory, self-paced structured e-learning as per the session plan and simulation training and its assessments.
Full Time: 2 days / week classes with simulation training.
Part Time: 1 day / week classes with simulation training.
Full fee Students: Online Theory with on-campus simulation training.
Students currently working in the industry: Online Theory with on-campus simulation training
IHNA has in place admission criteria for courses in its scope as required by its ‘Application and Enrolment Procedure for VET Courses’ to ensure that candidates meet industry requirements.
It is also essential for the student to possess basic computer skills.

Assessment strategies are implemented for collecting evidence and making judgements about whether competency has been achieved by the learner.
The assessments confirm whether an individual can perform to the standards expected in the workplace, as expressed in the relevant endorsed unit of competency.
Assessment tools used include :Frontline Sales Manager, Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Leading Hand, Distribution Centre Supervisor, Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Sales Team Manager, Line Manager, Coordinator (Business Operations).

On successful completion of the course the candidate can apply to do the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of other Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualifications.
In addition, depending on units/electives completed in this course, you may be eligible for advanced standing in other courses and other Training Package qualifications.

This recognition process is evidenced in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and could provide you with a full or partial qualification and avoid duplication of training. You may be able to complete your course faster through recognition of your previous study, work skills and past experience as credits towards completion of your course. Some of our courses also have recognised study pathways, making learning more accessible. Applications for RPL can be made prior to enrolling.

If your qualifications, training or skills were gained outside Australia, you might be able to get recognition for your skills or qualifications to determine your eligibility to gain credit for the intended course of study. We can initiate this process on the available courses for which RPL is applicable.
If you intend on applying for RPL:
Applicants for Credit Transfer must complete the credit transfer application form, attach a copy of a verified Award or Statement of Attainment and submit the application to the Course Coordinator. The Course Coordinator must check the Award or Statement of Attainment and grant Credit Transfer for identical units that have been identified as being completed at another Registered Training Organisation. Verified copies of Qualifications and Statements of Attainment used as the basis for granting Credit Transfer must be placed in the student files. The student and the Course Coordinator must sign the completed Credit Transfer record. Granting of Credit Transfer must be recorded as a unit outcome in the student’s file. Student’s individual training plans will be adjusted to reflect any Credit Transfer granted. Credit Transfer does not attract a fee.
