The CHC52015 – Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) is an entry pathway into the community care/support industry. It offers the skills needed for a support worker in the community services sector. You will gain the knowledge and capabilities needed to support and advocate for family welfare, community health, employment, and disability services.
During this course, you will learn effective ways of communication and understand how best to advocate on behalf of clients. You’ll be able to employ counselling techniques, working one-on-one and in groups. Among other things, you can oversee complex assessment and referrals, implement community development strategies, and understand the impacts of sociological factors on clients.
