About the Course

This qualification is designed for workers in the community or residential setting who provide individualised support to the aged or people with disabilities. They must use discretion and judgement, and take responsibility for their own outputs. They are taught factual, technical and procedural knowledge of the concepts and practices required.
Students may undertake this course as an entry pathway into the aged care or disability care industry. Our course is directed towards developing multi-skilled workers for the broad range of services supporting aged people and the disabled in residential and community settings.

About the Course

The HLT54115 – Diploma of Nursing course is nationally accredited and covers
the role of an enrolled nurse working under supervision of a registered nurse.
This qualification covers the application of skills and knowledge required to
provide nursing care for people across the health sector. A lifespan approach
underpins this qualification with relevant competencies that relate to the
different stages of life identified within the units.

Upon successful completion of the HLT54115 – Diploma of Nursing, you will
meet one of the requirements to apply for your registration as an enrolled
nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
